Recovery Centre

People affected by bushfires in the Blue Mountains area now have access to information and support following the opening of a recovery centre at Springwood.

The recovery centre opened at 10am today on Tuesday 22 October 2013 and is at the Presbyterian Hall, 158 Macquarie Rd, Springwood from 8am – 6pm.

The centre has been established to support the short and long term recovery of the Blue Mountains area and provides information and support to those affected by the recent fires.

The following agencies will be represented at the Recovery Centre:

A local Recovery Committee has been established and is chaired by the Recovery Coordinator and will meet daily.
